Emilie F. Grenier

Narrative Designer

Emilie F. Grenier is a narrative designer. With a focused expertise in materials, storytelling and interactions, she imagines concepts and translates them into engaging multi-sensory experiences. Throughout her process, she curates compelling imagery to visualise designs and material directions that culminate into carefully edited experiences.

A graduate of MA Material Futures at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, Emilie’s final year project, Disquiet Luxurians, was curated by Sir Tom Dixon to debut at MOST Salone in Milan, and has since then been exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum, the London Design Festival, Dutch Design Week, DesignMarch Reykjavik, and various design galleries across the world. In 2014, the City of Montreal awarded her the Phyllis-Lambert-Design Montreal Grant to fund her investigation of how local materials can be used to tell stories in Reykjavik, UNESCO City of Literature. Her collections have been published in the pages of Wallpaper*, Dezeen, the Protein Journal, Fubiz, Form Magazine, Elle, and more.
